For the past ten years, Christine has been working on developing curriculum that integrates tap dancing with multiplication. Her lesson plans draw on her dance education and k-5 teaching experience.
Seen in the photo on the top, the children are tap dancing a 9's array.
In the photo below, the students are creating their own 4's hop scotch game which they will tap their way through.
Christine's long-term goal is to conduct a case study with third grade students to show that dance is a conduit for meaningful learning.
